Morning Prayer and the Rosary are prayed in our Chapel each weekday morning beginning at 7:45 a.m.
Ministers lead parishioners in the Rosary and Morning prayers.
Divine Mercy Leaders & Participants
Members of St. Anthony Parish gather each day of the week at 3:00 pm in the Divine Mercy Chapel to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
We invite and welcome anyone to join as a participant, and we are also looking for individuals who would be willing to act as a leader. Leaders' duties are minimal and would take very little extra time.
Stations of the Cross Leaders
Stations of the Cross are prayed every Friday during lent at 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. On Good Friday, we have a special outdoor Stations of the Cross event at 6:00 p.m.
Stations leaders ensure that the Stations of the Cross booklets are available at the entrance of the church, lead the congregation through the stations and ensure booklets are removed from the pews at the end of the service.
This ministry welcomes parishioners who are homebound, or reside in nursing homes to be active members of our parish, by including specific intentions in their daily prayers.
Prayer for the work of our parish, our parish ministries, and those to whom we minister is a vital component of our parish life.
Members of the Ministry of Praise will receive a special prayer booklet and a periodic newsletter.
In addition to members praying as part of the Ministry of Praise, we are looking for someone to compose and distribute the monthly newsletter. If you are interested, please call the Parish Office on 863.858.8047
Held once a year in October, the Living Rosary brings our diverse parish together, weaving our varied nationalities together in prayer in honor of our Blessed Mother. Mary taught us how to pray the Rosary and Catholics in many nations continue to do so today in their native tongue. We form a human Rosary around the inside of the Church.
Following the Rosary we have an International Pot Luck Celebration in the Faith Development Center. We have dishes from all the different cultures represented in our parish, American, Italian, Polish, Filipino, Irish, Asian, Spanish, Indian etc.
Ministers assisting in this ministry reach out to our parishioners, inviting them to participate and share their culture through the beautiful rosary prayers in different languages, and in sharing hospitality in the form of food from various countries.
Held annually, the Emmaus Retreat for Women offers an opportunity for women of our parish to grow closer to Christ, and to grow as disciples.
Please watch the bulletin for details of upcoming retreats.
Corpus Christi Procession
Our Annual Corpus Christi Procession takes place annually on the Feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. Following one of our masses, we process with the Blessed Sacrament from the church to four designated altars around our Parish Campus. Our procession takes us along Marcum Road where we as a community witness to the world our belief in the Real Presence of Christ's Body Blood Soul and Divinity in the Eucharist.
Ministers are needed to help coordinate this sacred event. Activities include setting up the altars, ensuring that the canopy is maintained and ready to be carried over the Presider and the Blessed Sacrament throughout the procession, and that parishioners are selected to carry the canopy.
Meeting weekly, the Hispanic Prayer Group gathers in the Faith Development Center for prayer, music, and fellowship.
Once a month, group leaders meet to plan the program for the year and to plan any special events such as the Pentecost Vigil and seasonal retreats.
