The Eucharist is "the source and summit of the Christian life." The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch.
~ Catechism of the Catholic Church n. 1324
As Catholics, we are encouraged to receive the Eucharist frequently and have the opportunity to do so during the celebration of any Mass. Click here for Mass Times.
First Eucharist (Holy Communion)
Students in second grade will need to register for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. Both school and parish families will be required to fill out the parish Sacrament Registration Form. This can be done during registration weekends in the summer, or by visiting the parish office. All candidates for a sacrament who are not registered at a Catholic school, must register and participate in Sunday Faith Formation. School families are asked to register for, and participate fully in, the Family Faith Formation classes that take place on the first Sunday of every month.
